PA Erica Davis earned a Master of Health Science from the Drexel University Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program in Philadelphia, PA, an undergraduate degree in biology from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She joined the Metropolitan Nephrology Associates team in 2013. Erica came to MNA with 6 years of hospitalist experience and 3 years of cardiology experience. She has an interest in Acute Kidney Injury and has presented on the topic at the Renal Physicians Association Advanced Practitioner Conference and the American Association of Physician Assistants National Conference. She has published an article on Acute Kidney Injury and co-authored the nephrology section in a PA peer review book. Erica served as a guest lecturer on renal physiology and pathophysiology at her alma mater, Drexel University and currently guest lectures at the George Washington University Physician Assistant Program on the topic of renal replacement therapies. She resides in Washington, DC and enjoys life in the DC metro area.
